Register your interest

To take part in the Imperial Hackathon Hong Kong and Macau 2026, you'll need to register your interest by 24 September 2026.

Registration is completely free, and is the only way to receive this year's challenge briefs and details of how to submit your team's entry.

This registration form is for both the high school track, and the university students and young professionals track.

You can register even if you haven't formed a team yet. However, you'll need to be part of a team of at least four people before the team submission deadline 23.59 (11.59pm) (HKT/MST) on 25 October 2026.

If you're looking for teammates, please tell us when you complete the registration form. While we can't guarantee we'll find you a team, we'll do our best to connect participants who are in a similar situation.

By registering, you'll also receive an invite to join our online briefing on 15 October 2026 at 19.00 HKT/MST. This session is a chance to meet the academic judges, learn about the challenges, cover key event details and receive guidance on finding teammates. Attendance is strongly encouraged but not required.
