Eligibility criteria
The Anne Seagrim Accommodation Scholarship supports international students at Imperial College London towards the cost of their accommodation. Funded by Ms. Anne Seagrim, this scholarship is designed to ease financial pressures, allowing talented researchers from around the world to focus on their studies and research.
The award provides £13,500 toward accommodation costs, for up to three years for the PhD program.
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, candidates must:
Have been assessed as Overseas fee status
Apply to undertake an PhD course
Are self-funded i.e. are not in receipt of any other scholarship or studentship
Have an offer of admission from the College to study by 23:59 (UK local time) on 1 May 2026
Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.
Application process
To apply for the Anne Seagrim Accommodation Scholarships, you need to:
Apply for an eligible course – see the list in the Eligibility Criteria section.
Create an online account and submit your application through our application portal – use our guide to How to apply for additional help.
Receive an offer of a place for 2025 entry by the scholarship deadline of 23:59 (UK local time) on 1 May 2026.
Firmly accept the offer by the relevant deadline.
Complete our Scholarship application form by the deadline of 23:59 (UK local time) on 1 May 2026.
Additional information
Outcome of Award: The successful candidates will be notified by email no later than 31 July 2026. If you have not heard from us by this date, please assume you have been unsuccessful in your application.
This award is for students starting in the academic year 2026-27 and cannot be deferred. All scholarships are awarded subject to students accepting award Terms and Conditions.
