Eligibility criteria

This bursary is open to all applicants applying to an undergraduate programme in the Department of Materials at Imperial College London. We welcome applications from students of all backgrounds and encourage those who:

•    Demonstrate a strong interest in materials science through their personal statement or extracurricular activities.

•    Show potential to contribute positively to the department’s academic and social community. 

 

Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

Course specific information

The Department of Materials offers cutting-edge undergraduate programmes that blend scientific theory with practical application. Students explore topics such as nanotechnology, biomaterials, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing, preparing them for careers in research, industry, and innovation.

 

As part of our commitment to supporting future materials scientists, this bursary is available exclusively to students enrolling in undergraduate courses within the Department of Materials.

Application process

There is no separate application form for this bursary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered by the Department’s Admissions Tutor during the standard admissions process.

If you are shortlisted, you will be contacted in late March or early April and invited to submit additional information to support your application.
