Eligibility criteria

This scholarship is open to applicants who:

•    Are applying to an undergraduate programme in the Department of Materials at Imperial College London

•    Have been assessed as having Home fee status by the College.

We welcome applications from students of all backgrounds and particularly encourage those who demonstrate academic potential, resilience, and a passion for materials science.

 

Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

Course specific information

The Department of Materials is a world-class centre for research and education in materials science and engineering. Our undergraduate programmes offer a dynamic mix of theoretical learning and practical experience, covering areas such as nanomaterials, biomaterials, sustainable materials, and advanced manufacturing.

This scholarship is specifically for students joining undergraduate courses in the Department of Materials and is intended to support those who may face financial barriers to accessing higher education.

 

Application process

There is no separate application form for this scholarship. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered by the Department’s Admissions Tutor as part of the standard admissions process.

 

If you are shortlisted, you will be contacted in late March or early April and invited to provide additional information to support your application.
