Eligibility criteria
The bursary is open to students who:
Have an offer of admission to study a full-time BSc or MSci in the Department of Earth Science and Engineering
Are facing a significant financial barrier to participating in higher education
Have completed the bursary application process by 11:59 pm (UK local time) on Friday 28th May 2027
Please note: This scholarship is available to new entrants only. Students already studying the course are not eligible.
Course specific information
Available for full-time undergraduate study (BSc or MSci) in the Department of Earth Science and Engineering.
Application process
To apply, candidates must:
Hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study a BSc or MSci in the Department of Earth Science and Engineering
Complete the Rocky Fund Bursary Application Form by 11:59 pm (UK local time) on Friday 28th May 2027
Applications will be assessed based on academic merit/potential and the information provided in the application form.
Additional information
Applications will be reviewed following the release of UK A Level results (mid-August)
Successful applicants will be notified no later than four weeks after results are released
If you have not heard from us by that time, please assume your application was unsuccessful
