Eligibility criteria

This scholarship follows the same eligibility criteria and application process as the Presidential Scholarships for Students of Black Heritage at Imperial.

These scholarships are designed to support students from Black heritage backgrounds who are pursuing postgraduate study. They aim to improve access to postgraduate education and provide financial and academic support.

 

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

  • Identify as being from a Black heritage background (including Black African, Black Caribbean, or other Black backgrounds, including mixed heritage).

  • Have Home fee status.

  • Be applying for a new postgraduate course starting in 2026 (this scholarship is not available to continuing students).

Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

Application process

To apply for this scholarship:

  1. Apply for your chosen eligible course at Imperial.

  2. Receive and accept an offer for 2026 entry.

  3. Complete the Presidential Scholarships application form by the deadline.

 

The deadline is 1 April 2026, 23:59 (UK local time)
