Eligibility criteria
The scholarships are funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. By attracting individuals with outstanding talent and identifiable potential from all backgrounds and supporting them to become leaders and innovators in their home countries, the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) combines sustainable development with the UK national interest and provides opportunities for international partnerships and collaboration.
Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country.
By September 2026, hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard. A lower qualification and sufficient relevant experience may be considered in certain cases.
Be unable to afford to study the programme without this scholarship.
Have provided all supporting documentation in the required format.

Course specific information
These scholarships are for candidates from low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries applying for the Master of Public Health (Online).
Application process
The deadline for submitting an application is 16:00 BST on Tuesday 31 March 2026. The scholarships are for study beginning in September/October 2026.
Applications to the CSC must be made using the CSC’s online application system, CSC Central.
The CSC is unable to accept any applications or documentation not submitted via the online application system. If you experience any issues, please contact info@cscuk.org.uk.

Quality of study plan
Potential impact on the development of the candidate’s home country
Applications will only be considered if individuals have also submitted an application for the Master of Public Health (online) programme via the Imperial website.
