Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be:
- studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma programme;
- an international student paying the Overseas rate of tuition;
- applying for an undergraduate course within the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, or Imperial Business School.
Scholarships will be awarded to exceptional International Baccalaureate students who achieve academic excellence in their diploma programme.
Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

Application process
There is no formal application process or separate application form for the scholarship.
Academically excellent IB applicants will be nominated for selection for this scholarship by the Imperial faculties and departments to which they apply as part of the admission process.
These awards are for the highest achieving students. Academic merit and potential to succeed at Imperial will be taken into account during the nomination process.

Successful candidates will be notified starting from mid-May 2026. If you do not hear from us by the end of September 2026, please assume that you have not been selected to be the awardee.
This award is for students starting in the academic year 2026/27 and cannot be deferred. All scholarships are awarded subject to students accepting award Terms and Conditions. Please note that the award is conditional upon you receiving an unconditional offer to study at Imperial by September 2026. Continuation of a Scholarship is subject to the Scholar maintaining satisfactory academic progress as defined by Imperial.
