Applicants must:

  • Be female students.
  • Possess Home fee status.
  • Be holding an offer for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London.

Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

Course specific information

This scholarship is exclusively for students pursuing undergraduate studies in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London.

Application process

  • No separate application is required; all eligible students will be automatically considered based on admission records.

Additional information

  • Scholarship funding alternates annually between the Samuel Pun Memorial Scholarship and the Manjimup Scholarship.
  • The scholarship is part of Imperial College’s efforts to promote gender diversity in Mechanical Engineering, where female students remain underrepresented.

The successful candidate will be notified of the outcome no later than Friday 31 July 2026. If you have not heard from us by this date, please assume you have been unsuccessful in your application.

This award is for students starting in the academic year 2026/27 and cannot be deferred. All scholarships are awarded subject to students accepting award Terms and Conditions. Please note that the award is conditional upon you receiving an unconditional offer to study at Imperial by September 2026. Continuation of a Scholarship is subject to the Scholar maintaining satisfactory academic progress as defined by Imperial.
