compStata is an interactive data management and statistical analysis program, which has become very popular among researchers in most disciplines. The programme provides a broad range of statistics. It is very user-friendly and also has internet capabilities.

This is a half-day practical workshop, familiarising participants with Stata, starting from data entry, input/output methods and data-visualization using graphs.

We offer two further Introductory courses  in STATA:

  • Introduction to Statistics using STATA : A one-day course firstly familiarising participants with Stata, and progressing from data entry and presentation, to 1 and 2 sample tests, one-way ANOVA and simple linear regression.
  • Data Management and Statistical Analysis using STATA : A two-days practical PC-based workshop, which will go through basic statistical methods with further emphasis on data management. Firstly, familiarising participants with STATA, and progressing from data entry and presentation to 1 and 2 sample tests, one-way ANOVA and simple regression.
