Stata is an interactive data management and statistical analysis program, which has become very popular among researchers in most disciplines. The programme provides a broad range of statistics. It is very user-friendly and also has internet capabilities.

Course Outline:
This one day course following on from the Introduction to Statistics Using Stata and Data Management & Statistical Analysis Using Stata courses presents more advanced statistical techniques.
- Two-way ANOVA - interpreting interactions
- Multiple linear regression - including stepwise selection methods and regression diagnostics
- ANCOVA
- Introduction to Survival Analysis (life tables and Kaplan-Meier)
Entry requirements: Have attended the Introduction to Statistics using STATA course or the Data Management and Statistical Analysis using STATA course. Otherwise, at least some familiarity with statistics and the Stata software.
This course can also be attended jointly with the Logistic Regression and Meta-analysis using STATA course at a discounted price.
This course has been approved by the Royal College of Physicians for 6 CPD credits.
