As part of your support package, you will automatically be given an associate membership of Imperial College Union. This membership is free, and you don’t need to sign up anywhere.

As associate members, you can enjoy everything the Union has to offer, including joining as many Clubs and Societies as you wish. The only thing you won’t be able to do is stand or vote in our elections, so if you want to become a committee member or a rep, you will need to wait until you officially start next year.

Please note that whilst the Union membership is free of charge for all deferred students, many clubs charge membership fees to help them cover their operating costs. You will need to log in using your College credentials to gain membership of a club.
