Imperial Lates: Happiness and Health
29 January 2026, 18.00-21.00
Beat the winter blues and start 2026 afresh with an evening of science, music and fun for your body and mind.
Explore the science behind feeling your best as Imperial researchers share the secrets to hacking your health and wellbeing. Find your flow in a Tai Chi balance workshop, take part in mindful crafting, or unwind in our Calm Space. How old are you really? Find out when you test your gait and balance using movie-making technology, and see what it tells you about the health of your bones and muscles. Then stop by the Grantham Climate Friendly Pop-Up Kitchen to sample planet-friendly snacks while you discover how to eat better for your body and the planet.
And finally, shake off your winter slump at the Underground Ceilidh, guaranteed to get you moving. Throw in a live DJ set from DJ WheelUp and our friends at the Rhythm Studio, a bar and good vibes, and you’ve got yourself the perfect evening of happiness and health.
Whether you’re ending your bed rot for the year, looking to revive and reset, or just fancy a sociable night with science, music and conversation, take it at your own happy and healthy pace.
