Students shared feedback that while Imperial’s academic departments offer a strong sense of belonging, this is not always felt across the wider community, and that access to activities can depend on campus location. This is why we are strengthening collaboration across the university and expanding opportunities so all students can connect, belong and take part in the Imperial experience, wherever they study and even once you have graduated and become part of our alumni community.
This includes:
- Encouraging students to engage as active members of the Imperial community, building relationships as future peers and collaborators
- Fostering a lifelong connection with students and alumni, both at departmental and university level through pastoral care and extracurricular activities
