President's Awards for Excellence in Culture and Community

The President’s Award for Excellence in Leadership underscores the importance of effective, supportive leadership and management at all levels across Imperial. It supports a key aim of our Science for Humanity Strategy.
Excellence in leadership and management can be defined in a number of ways but the panel is looking for nominations for leaders, managers and supervisors, at all levels and across all job families, who consistently demonstrate and role-model the Imperials values and behaviours, Respect, Collaboration, Excellence, Integrity and Innovation, ensuring effective support for their staff, driving sustained motivation, providing inspiration and enabling their development.

Do you have an excellent colleague or work with an outstanding team that you would like to nominate?

The President’s Award for Excellence in Collaboration recognises an individual colleague or team who embodies the spirit of the Imperial community: one team working, planning, and delivering together towards our shared vision through effective networking, collaboration, and communication.
This may include volunteering to assist with events, working on special projects, serving on committees, or participating in programmes outside their normal work environment to deliver positive outcomes whilst demonstrating commitment to Imperial values and behaviours: Respect, Collaboration, Excellence, Integrity, and Innovation.

The President’s Award for Excellence in Sustainability recognises an individual or team who has delivered a specific project or initiative, or embedded everyday good practice that significantly contributes to the enhancement of sustainability at Imperial, whilst demonstrating commitment to the Imperial values and behaviours, Respect, Collaboration, Integrity, Innovation and Excellence.
