Introducing Splunk

Splunk is a powerful data analytics platform that helps you make sense of data that it collects, indexes, and analyses, such as events or metrics from servers, applications, and devices. Splunk is well suited to large operational data sets, unstructured data or real time data feeds.

It can organise data into a searchable format, making it easy to retrieve and analyse, it can create visual representations of data, such as charts and dashboards helping you to understand trends and patterns. This can help you with better decision-making and improved operational efficiency.

When should I use Splunk?

Consider Splunk where you might have large datasets, a requirement to analyse real time feeds of data, sets of unstructured data, or metric based information (e.g. from Internet of Things (IOT) devices)
