Splunk On-Call is used for processing alerts from existing monitoring tools for out-of-hours (OOH) issues and for major incidents. It supports rotas and escalations to ensure the correct support personnel are contacted and a prompt response is obtained. Notification methods include app-based alerts as well as text messages (SMS) and emails.
